Bullhead City, referred as Arizona’s West Coast, is located on the East Bank of the Colorado River in Mohave County, Arizona.

Arizona, California and Nevada borders are the connecting junctures for Bullhead City and the neighboring communities of Laughlin Nevada, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Arizona and Needles, California. Known as the Tri-State Area, these communities are economically interdependent and geographically connected within a ten-mile radius.

Tourism continues to be a primary economic activity derived from the Laughlin resort and gaming industry.  In the Summer months, tourists flock to Bullhead City and the surrounding communities for Arizona’s water recreation on Lake Mohave and the Colorado River.  Furthermore, many take the short drive across the Colorado River to enjoy the amenities offered in Laughlin, Nevada.

On the other hand, Fall attracts thousands of traveling motor home enthusiasts who come to Bullhead City to escape their harsh winters, thaw out and take advantage of Bullhead City’s mild winters. Year round activities include golf, fishing, senior and youth event throughout Bullhead City’s 300 days of beautiful weather.
